      Great replacement upgrade for vintage free wheels.

      I took my rear wheel to the bike shop to break loose the freewheel, cost $5. I took the axel out and cleaned / greased the ball bearings and set the preload so it wasn't binding. The freewheel screwed on to my vintage Raleigh hub with a Araya rim. As with any new freewheel, the upper and lower limits on the derailer needed to be adjusted. YouTube videos were helpful. Very quiet and positive shifting now.

      Freewheelin'

      Logical replacement for worn freewheel. This is the larger freewheel socket size. Almost 23 millimeters in diameter. Vintage "85 on up. 3 inner gears are angled for a smoother shift. Fair price. Well oiled in a sealed plastic package.

      Excellent replacement freewheel for an old 10-speed

      The original freewheel on my 44 year old 10speed was worn out and wobbled badly. It’s getting harder to find 5 gear freewheels. This one spins true and looks good too.
