      Hello, A 1tb drive only ever holds around 700gb on the data partition. This is the same from the factory. The hard drive is still a 1tb drive, but the other space is being used for system/OS files. If you buy a brand new 1tb Xbox the storage will show as 700~gb. I understand that this is confusing for a non tech-savvy person, but it is the truth and will be the same no matter what 1tb replacement drive you install.
