    Excellent music for any age

    I first heard this recording in the summer of 1968 in Atlanta, GA. Working in construction and living in a boarding house was a new experience, and a lonely one. I had thrilled to the music of Henry Mancini the previous summer while working in a theater where Two for the Road was playing, and spent a paycheck on a reel-to-reel tape recorder and music. One album I wanted was the soundtrack to the movie I remembered from the summer before, and it came as a double album with Mancini 67. I don't know how many times I have heard the two recordings since, but the songs are all part of my personal soundtrack. They come into my head without provocation, and they are always welcome. This purchase was for my new niece, so she can hear great music as she grows up. I hope she loves it like I do.

    Great throwback album with excellent sound!

    This CD is a great throwback to the 1967 sounds of Henry Mancini. Why they don't have a box set of all his LPs, I don't know, but I enjoyed listening to this music immensely and will play it whenever I want to have a "swinging sound" experience.
