One of the best metal albums ever, period
I still remember the first time I heard this album. I was standing on the floor of the old Charlotte Coliseum on February 14, 1984 awaiting the start of one of the best shows I've ever seen, Van Halen. Prior to them coming on, they put on side one of Balls to the Wall, cranked up loud enough to enjoy, to warm up the crowd. I remember standing there thinking "who the hell is this"? I bought the LP the next day, I been enjoying this album ever since. Heck, I listen to Accept more than Van Halen nowadays! Some of the songs on here haven't aged well, but the gems here more than make up. I still like Restless and Wild better but this is a close second. Don't be scared off by the freaky looking (they definitely didn't copy their countrymen The Scorpions in ... I still remember the first time I heard this album.
