  • Will work on newer computers with a PCI slot with a little extra effort.

I am using mine with Windows 7 64 bit using a modified driver available with a little googling. I have an Adaptec AHA-2940u SCSI card in my HP Z420 computer, I had to find a modified driver for that card to get it to work with 64 bit Windows 7, my card had a boot rom installed and my computer would not boot until I removed it. Once all the drivers were loaded it was just a matter of updating them in the Windows device manager that is in the Control panel settings. The scanner software works fine in Windows 7 and as long as your film is clean it gives nice scans. Not having Digital ICE means you have to spend a little extra time spotting your files in your photo editing program.
