    Awesome!

    Ship was fast, packaging excellent! This Roku is the best/fastest I've tried yet and I've happily owned at least several Roku's. I currently have this one hooked-up to an LG UHD monitor model 32UK550/UL500 and the picture and colors are fantastic! I'll be using a PC with this monitor soon to get a wider range of volume control. The Roku couldn't control the volume on my monitor's speakers for some reason, but the volume was set near perfection anyway! Very happy!

    Box is easy to set up. Has some good features.

    My disappointment with the product is that it greatly limits what u can install on it. It is very efficient from a use standpoint. Video is mush sharper and clearer than the Firestick with no download issues so far.

    Great updated Roku!

    This Roku Ultra Streaming media player replaces an older version of Roku which we had for several years, but was no longer supported by some of the streaming channels. It was relatively easy to set up, & started working smoothly right away. We're now able to access channels that we weren't able to before. The picture quality is excellent, with the 4K & HD. We also like the search for lost remote feature- wish other TV's or remotes had this.

    Better performance than standard units and helpful wireless remote control.

    Excellent video quality (color shading and gray scale appears to be slightly better than the Roku Express+). The wireless control is much appreciated as the remote does not need to be lifted into line-of-sight with base Ultra unit. The unit operates faster on commands than the standard units, as promised, which is a pleasant improvement. The reason for a "4" is twofold: (1) the remote can only control the TV through the HDMI connection, so it cannot be programmed to control an associated audio amplifier system, and (2) the unit has no SPDIF (TOSLINK) optical output for the audio amplifier, requiring the purchase of an additional device in the HDMI line to intercept and output the audio.

    Only Roku to consider.

    Based on my previous purchase of a Roku Stick - this Ultra unit is the only one to really consider. It gives you the maximum features and is really worth the extra money. It also (last time I checked) was the only unit that ROKU backs up and will warranty and for which it will offer tech support. I love the "find my remote" button and now have replaced all my other units with these Ultra units. There is a reason that ROKU is WAY ahead of the other Firesticks and Apples. Just a better value and full offering of everything you might want!!
