Alec Baldwin is good,as always, as the Mafia boss, and a largely unknown cast do their best with material which is a direct rip off from "Goodfellas". Even the running commentary is the same. However, I enjoyed the film in its undemanding way,and for once the violence in such films was not too prominent. As with Goodfellas the story revolves around three young would be gangsters who get attracted to the life, except one who sees the negative side of things. As usual, the nicest of the youths gets killed needlessly, but not after nearly every ganster in Brooklyn is disposed of by Baldwins gang.he also meets a grizzly end!. Shot entirely in Brooklyn this is just one of many Mafia films available and is unremarkable at best, but it isn;t the worst gangster DVD I have seen!.
It's a story of three best mates who remain freinds through childhood to adults.Set in Brooklyn (no suprise there) in Mafia style gangland. Our three heroes mature in world of violence & underworld dealings.Loyalty is the key word. Our heroes have that.To each other.Alec Baldwin plays a sinister mob boss.Well worth a watch.Beaware the 15 age rating is questionable.
THIS IS QUITE A GOOD FILM, WITH A GOOD CAST, BALDWIN IS GREAT. IT STARTS OFF A BIT SLOW, BUT THE GOOD ACTING KEEPS YOU WATCHING.
