My first ever negative review. After receiving this 12v shunt, I see that the device has no possible method of mounting safely. This renders device unusable, non-compliant. Seller states others cable tie it to something. No Auto-Electrician would install a heavy current device in this way. Other shunts are supplied with fused supply cables. Nothing here. Cheap device, premium price. Returned in original box, it costing $12, then charged for testing, re-packing and “cleaning”. $19 for that!

We're very sorry you feel this way. We have sold hundreds of these shunts and no one else has had an issue with them. This is a large 500 amp continuous rated shunt and it is common for larger shunts not to have a plastic mounting. We did advise you that there would be a restocking fee before you returned the item without anything being faulty. When we charged this small fee you complained to eBay about it, were unsuccessful, and then left us a negative review.
