    Have used Fellowes oil for years on my Amazon basics shredder and it has kept the shredder blades sharp and the paper doesn't jam up in the blades. I wish this came in a smaller size because the bottle would be easier to use. I didn't clip off the end of the nozzle, but made a small hole in the top with a push pin and this prevents a lot of oil from coming out at once.

    Have used Fellowes oil for years on my Amazon basics shredder and it has kept the shredder blades sharp and the paper doesn't jam up in the blades. I wish this came in a smaller size because the bottle would be easier to use. I didn't clip off the end of the nozzle, but made a small hole in the top with a push pin and this prevents a lot of oil from coming out at once.

    Don't use too much!

    I got this as it was recommended on the Fellowes web site. However, it has no instructions on how much to use. I made one or two passes up and down the paper feed slot and thoroughly coated the rollers in the machine. Oops! The rollers became so slippery they wouldn't pull the paper into the machine. After feeding a few sheets and working them in the machine, it finally cleaned off the rollers and the shredder began to work normally. A note here. The shredders say that you can feed credit cards into them. Don't! And don't feed staples. These items put undo stress on the plastic gear mechanism in the machine and can break them. I'm just sayin!

    Shredder lube

    I just bought a new shredder and saw this lube while shopping and decided to try it. I used it on my new one. My wife has one about 5 years old and I lubed hers also. She asked me what I did to it because it was running so much smoother. Never knew there was such but will use it from now on.

    Fellowes Oil

    This is a must use to provide extended wear on your Fellowes shredders. Don't leave home without it - Ha Ha. Use it as directed especially if you are a heavy user of the shredder or if you are using the micro cross cutter which has more cutting action that needs to be lubricated.

    Fellow shredder oil
