Recorded at Transient Sound & CRC (Chicago). β’ The sessions were recorded 'live' in the studio with the end result being a record made in essentially the way records were made back in the day - everyone delivering a performance of the highest caliber, together in one big room. β’ Carrie auditioned for Berry Gordy and was immediately signed to Motown, the second white girl in the history of the label to ever do so (the other being Teena Marie). β’ Carrie has performed with Rowan & Martin, Liberace and Danny Thomas in Vegas, the Four Tops, The Temptations and Smokey Robinson. β’ Television appearances have included: three Tonight Shows, The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, The Merv Griffin Show, Late Night with Tom Snyder, The Mike Douglas Show, a special on 20/20, the Motown Merry Christmas Special, Don Cornelius' Soul Train and American Bandstand. β’ She has been nominated for a Dove Award, awarded Favorite Pop Album in Contemporary Christian Music magazine's Reader's Awards and garnered two #1 singles on the Billboard Contemporary Christian Charts β’ "For as long as I can remember I have been very selective of singers and songwriters I think are great and, I wanted to make a record that would resonate with people who feel the same way - and sing songs with great melodies and meaningful lyrics," explains Carrie.
