    Original Star Trek

    If you are a fan of the original Star Trek series this is the set to order. There is narration of the history of how Star Trek started - and originally failed to be picked up by the networks. The set includes the original pilot episode before William Shatner was chosen to be the Captain of the Enterprise. Some episodes offer original format as well as enhanced versions. I had previously purchased a set of the complete 1st season but there was no order to the episodes. This has every episode in order as well as special features. I highly recommend this BluRay set.

    Star Trek in Blu-ray! Better than the original videos!

    This is Blu-ray not DVD. So it has 1080P resolution which is better than the original TV series! It has both "Enhanced" & "Regular" versions for every episode, and I really like the enhanced versions! It has a nice case for every disc! Also it has behind the scenes for creators, cast, workers, and stories, which is also quite entertaining beyond the episodes. Every disc has a master operating program to be able to select what you want to watch! If you like the original Star Trek series, this is definitely what you should buy, instead of watching them on Netflix! :) I was about 10 years old when the series started, and I think Gene Roddenberry was a great human trying to show how all different heritages of people should work together! Get them before they are gone!!!!

    Star Trek on Blu Ray Is the Best

    I am extremely satisfied with the Blu-ray version of the original Star Trek series. The visual quality is so much better than I've ever seen it before, almost movie quality, while I have only seen Star Trek on the small screen (i.e. broadcast). What a difference! I think I prefer to watch the version with the old special effects if only because the poor quality of space-ship flying, etc. adds to the feeling of originality, whereas spin-offs were done with slicker graphics due to the 25 years worth of technology improvements. Now the original series is 50 years old and feels almost as fresh as a brand new series.

    Amazing Restoration of a classic TV series. Much improved video and sound quality. The set also includes episodes in their original video format. I find that I actually prefer the remastered episodes over the originals.

    Classic Star Trek 79 episodes on blue ray disc. 100% recommended Highly.

    The TOS star trek original series is the best. On blue ray you will get the best transfer and highest quality picture. Classic trek the stories are some of the best even today. A must have all 79 episodes. All special effects have been upgraded to digital standards. Extra bonus features home movies and special clips never seen.
