    Great fixer-upper.

    Power supply is motorboating (oscillating) in the background. Plan to replace main filter caps and re-do the driver board with new caps and transistors. No complaints, it's a 40 year old receiver and I expected some problems. In no time she'll be good as new. Overall I am happy and it is certainly worth the price.

    A better alternative to a a Marantz 2220 and ahs a better phono stahge.

    Best receiver in class. Reliable. Great transparent sound. Conservative specifications. 51 years old and better than many amps costing in the thousands today.
