      Venice: Art and Architecture, 2 volumes

      Konemann's books on art are lavish editions with full-page illustrations, informative essays by world specialists, and to be read and re-read over time. This specific edition of two volumes dedicated to Venice's art and architecture is truly a gem. Each time I feel like being in Venice, I pick up one of the volumes and travel through the images and chapters. My purchase of this 2-volume edition is now on my desk, at arm's reach.       GREAT Balance of Pictures and Content

      We have spent a good deal of time in Venice and wanted to know more detail and history about what we saw there. This set gives all the background and detail a tourist or casual art or history nerd would want and yet the photographs alone delight. Peruse it once a year to keep the memories alive, or study it for a year and take the AP test!
