No more need to level all the frets at once, as long as they are seated reasonably accurately and level. This way, you can go back in and spot-level whatever frets are high. This tool would also work in the case of partial fret replacement, when only 3 or 4 worn frets are replaced, like down by the nut. You could install 2 or 3 new frets and level just those, without having to refret the whole neck. This would be good in the case of a vintage guitar.

So glad I did. Once it arrived, I was able to take the high spots off a few frets on my favorite Tele. Only took about 10 minutes! All buzzing is gone and my action is now at a very nice 1.5mm. Really the perfect tool for this sort of thing. Thanks!
