- c***r (178)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThese Standard OEM tire tools are somewhat adequate but if you have a GM HD Truck with spare, it's solid steel and very heavy. The metal used for the tools is too thin and the weight of the spare tire, mushrooms the end of the tool that turns the cable to raise or lower the spare. Which makes the tool unusable. It's best to have someone get under the spare and push up on the spare to make it as light as possible while securing it to the underside of the truck.
