    Unexpectedly a good game!

    I wasn't expecting much from Konami for this game, considering is was released in 1992 at the time when Batman Returns was in theaters. I have played the other versions, and 1992 was the year the NES was just dying a reluctant death. Tons of bad games or me-too games (i.e. Mega Man 4, Mega Man 5, etc.) were released and Nintendo had moved the console into a position for "beginning" games. So, buying this game, I had expected that as well. First thing that got me was the music, though not Batman music, is good Konami music nonetheless. Second thing that got me was the cut-scenes were HEAVILY detailed. Wasn't expecting that! (And that's a good thing.) The third thing was how arcade-like this game was. It plays like Final Fight (also a good thing) and is easy to learn and master. The bosses ...

    Another button masher

    Not the best Batman game for NES. Actually it's the worst of the three. Just another beat 'em up, button mashing, game. If you like TMNT 3, you'll love this. It has the jump kick and special move like TMNT 3. They also gave him the bat slide from Return Of The Joker. The ending changes depending on how good you do. All I got was a penguin saying I didn't get there fast enough. I didn't expect the good ending. But an ending saying: you're not getting an ending. That was a first for me. Unless you love beat 'em ups, or are a collector who wants all the Batman games. Steer clear of this one.

    NES Batman returns

    I got this game by EBAY 2 weeks ago ,25 $ for full boxet set. Game is just awesome ,nice balanced bit them up gameplay,movie style graphic arts.Very good music and sound effects. You can check game play video on youtube or nesguide.com site. Perfect NES must have title !!! AAA + So if you like this type of games GO GET IT ! its Fantastic !!!

    This game was fun to play and I also enjoyed controlling the batmobile.

    This game was very fun to play and my favorite part of the game was controlling the batmobile and bat ski boat. Some levels of the game were challenging, yet still entertaining to play.
