  • Not great

It would be good value if it actually worked. It’s not playing properly, keeps freezing and the disc is badly scratched.

  • Raccoons vs. humans

It is a greate anime about how civilization destroy old cultures. It's not for childrens under eight years.

  • Pom Poko

a very different fairy tale to what I would normally expect. This anime still has all the great animation and character development as the other studio ghibli movies but i have to say it is one of my least favourites. the story is basicly about racoons fight the humans to regain their teritory, the racoons can shapeshift. This is not a childrens dvd, i would not recomend it for young children as part of the racoons shapeshifting ability involves their testicles which are shown clearly throughout the film and refered to often. Overall a quite entertaining movie by ghibli but not one of my favourites.

  • Pom Poko

Pom Poko tells the story of a group of raccoons who have the ability to shape shift into objects, their forest is getting smaller and to work out whats happening they use their abilities to transform into people and see the damage thats caused, once theyve found out they do all they can to try and scare away anyone to gets too close to their forest, but it didnt always work.. This is a very random film, very miyazaki like, its good and is very unique like all the films he has created, worth watching.

  • entranced!

Really enjoyed this film! It's a little surreal as all Ghibli films are, and there are a few details which are, I'd say, for older children.
