    Window Woes - What Goes Down Must Come Up

    This is a part for an older vehicle, and there was some difficulty in finding it through other sources.     Faulty window chip.

    Lexus RX 300 Driver side Power Window Door Lock Switch. Cosmetically, the unit is spotless but failed in its performance. The door lock locked but couldn't unlock, One window worked but the other didn't. Both window and door lock functions work off the same component (chip). Conclusion, faulty chip.

    Faulty master power window switch

    The driver's side window will not go up after it is down. Took about 5 minutes to get it closed. Similar problem with the front passenger window, but not as bad.
