This was not mentioned in the description (and the photos) and compromises the device’s waterproof feature, essential for its intended rugged use. The seller was unhelpful in providing a solution, suggesting I should buy a new $140 battery from them.
Disappointed with the purchase as it deviates significantly from the expected refurbished condition.
