Short battery life, but mighty useful.
The Ryobi one+ 115mm angle grinder is incredibly handy for those small jobs. I leave a 1mm cut off wheel in mine for whenever I need to quickly cut off a bit of angle iron, rebar or 6mm rod. Don't expect to do any heavy grinding with it, but it's good with a wire brush or even a flap wheel for a quick bit of surface cleanup or cleaning up the ends of freshly cut stuff. I wouldn't even bother putting on a grinding wheel, I found that it bogged it down too much and couldn't get any real work done. Use a corded grinder if you plan on doing any serious stock removal, because this will just frustrate you. The only problem that I've found it's its appetite for batteries. The Ryobi one+ kit that I originally bought only came with the 1.3Ah batteries, which now are a little aged but still ... The Ryobi one+ 115mm angle grinder is incredibly handy for those small jobs.
