Still a great USB 2.0 Hub!
I use this hub for my old 2012 Macbook Pro and it is the most reliable USB 2.0 HUB that I had so far. Always works, no problems at all. If you mainly use USB 2.0 equipment (keyboard, printer, mouse) this device still works great!

This isn't the first Belkin 7-port hub I have bought. The old 4-port hub of a different brand was the problem when my computer's printer would not function part of the time. I thought it was a software problem or printer problem until a friend told me it was my hub. Since I've had the Belkin, I have not had a single problem with my printer. I recommend a powered, high-quality hub for anyone who does not have enough direct-connect ports on there computer. This one is a good one.This isn't the first Belkin 7-port hub I have bought. Great unit! Well satisfied!
I was looking for an inexpensive and reliable USB port expander as I was running out of space on my PC. I have used other Belkin equipment that has performed well. This new unit has performed as expected and provided new USB access at my fingertips. Very satisfied with my purchase!

Excellent Hub
Has its own power supply so no issues there. Currently in use as a hub connected to the NAS output of my router, and it handles multiple devices with ease.
