    Good unit

    This is my second Roku. My previous one works fine on the 1080 TV it's connected to, but I wanted one that had a little more processing power and 4K support for the occasionally available content. Preliminary testing on a dual channel WiFi has been satisfactory. If throughput becomes problematic, I'll run an ethernet cable to the this Roku Ultra. (one of the nice features of this model)

    I like ethernet connectivity.

    setup was easy. Don't use the remote at all. Don't want a microphone listening to everything said in the room, so the remote is battery-less and put away in a box. Don't use the ear buds either because I've got wireless headphones for all TV inputs and choices. I bought this model because it has ethernet connectivity. Its faster and less hassle.

    Awesome, but only if...

    I truly love this unit. I used it with Youtube and correctly deciphered my voice commands over 95% of the time! Now, I don't have to develop carpal tunnel syndrome from overuse of my thumb to type in a search request! I also love the aquarium screen saver. I really nice touch as compared to the right-to-left scrolling of a city landscape screen saver. I would have given it a 100% rating, but only if it could load my Spectrum app and change channels faster.

    Roku Ultra

    We’re enjoying our Roku Ultra. We upgraded from an old Sony smart Blu-ray player and a Chromecast, the Roku is so much faster than the Blu-ray player and it isn’t doesn’t tie up our phone like the chromecast did. And having all the streaming services that we use in one place is awesome. Also we have two small kids and the private listening feature is great while the kids are sleeping! We recommend it!

    Easy to use and nice size buttons.

    Not only easy to set up and use but I especially like the wireless earphone feature. Some shows/movies have low conversations and with plugs I can turn volume up w/o disturbing anyone else and hear what they are saying. Especially Brit movies. And I also like the CBS button.
