    Maver eyed or spade hook tyer

    Saw this on Utube and thought for the price it might be a useful addition to my fishing accessories. Since receiving this item I have after some practise decided that this was a good purchase and although you could do the same job with your fingers it does the tying quicker and you don't get the point of the hook in your fingers. A good tool all round.

    Good if you want consistent hair lengths

    I tye my own hair rigs by hand normally , with no problems . I only bought this to do specific consistent length hairs for specific hookbaits in winter , of which it does . I would'nt normally use this for 99% of my fishing with hair rigs though .

    I can tye all my rigs by hand but using this hair rig tyer makes it a easy i can whip down the shank of a size 18 hook passed the point you can't do that with your fingers this Maver hair rig tyer is worth every penny .Bands quick stops bayonets basic hair rig any type of hair rig is made easy with Maver hair rig tyer.Alien

    Handy little gadget

    Perfect for bespoke rigs, does what it’s supposed to, one gripe, the adjustable rig holder could be longer, at it fullest adjustment it falls a little short, but tweaking the hook clamp allows me to set the right distance.... not ideal
