    a good buy

    lightweight but sturdy enough to hold my 15 swarovski. very stable head, smooth operation. be sure the mounting plate is the QS36 (metal), the QS29 is plastic., I would have liked the legs to spread more and provide even more stability but it is ok and the quick/flip releases are only way to go.

    dont touch tripod if using it for bionoculars.

    bionoculars are very shaky looking through fully extended so dont touch tripod ,the hande is way too short . I will just have to see if I like it next trip . price is okay. you get what you pay for.It does not look to stable holding my bios.
