I've been trapping mice for more than 50 years. I found one of this style along the road while walking and picked it up. I tried it along side the "normal" style and consistently caught one in this style instead of the other. I bought some more and continued the side by side trials. 100% of the time the mice chose this one and I have never had one emptied of the peanut butter without being sprung. Somewhat questionable quality caused personal injury to user
Somewhat questionable quality. The little "U" brackets that hold the end of the metal trigger bar to the base are not inserted straight into the wooden bases and they are not inserted completely. One pulled out while setting the trap and the metal trigger bar flew off hitting me in the face causing a laceration that bled and took a week to heal. Had to pound on the "U" brackets on all four traps to get them fully inserted. On the good side, these traps are far more sensitive that the type with the meal bait bar and work well for very small field mice that will not trigger the metal bait bar type. Quality of construction and quality control needs improvement.Somewhat questionable quality. Easy to set, strong spring, works great!
We caught and killed 6 mice and 1 chipmunk in my basement in about 10 days. The traps were lined up in a row where we thought mice were traveling and the traps worked great. The springs on the Victor mouse traps are strong, and the paddle must be sensitive to a mouse's weight to release the bar quickly. These traps are a much more humane way of killing mice than poison.

mouse traps work well
These mouse traps are perfect for our purposes. We rescued a dog recently and she is (was) a counter-top surfer. She also got on furniture and jumped from the back of the car to the front seats. My vet recommended these and they've pretty much solved the problems already. They're pretty small, very easy to set and go off when they are suppose to. I'm glad I have all six.

the long arm that sets the trap is not long enough unless you bring the BIG yellow platform way up and when you put peanut butter on it don't use too much because with the short arm that sets the trap will not stay under the yellow to big plat form not impressed at all i can't even set 2 of the traps because of the shotr trigger arm
