Bigger that most--why I bought it.
Finally a litter scoop that is sized big enough for the output of my large cats! I have had others that eventually broke, but I keep buying more when I can find them.

No matter what size you prefer the Van Ness brand is BY FAR the sturdiest and most effective scoop on the market. It is very reasonably priced, comes in various sizes and outlasts, out-performs ALL others that I have tried. 6 cats - need a big scoop
This is just what I needed. I had purchased the one with the long handle, but was too long for covered litterboxes. This one is perfect. It also seems sturdy and the handle hasn't broke.

Sturdy and large scoop. Makes cleaning the litter box go quickly with the 6" wide scooping area. Way better than the smaller 5" ones you buy in the stores. Wouldn't buy anything else!
