    The standard of reference guide books. Buy one if you get the chance.

    This guide book is the standard to which all others should aspire. Well written well researched, the original has been updated by adding some pages of photos, without alteration to the content. Peoples modelling standards and expectations have altered since the original writing in 1980, however dublo still retains a modicum of being an able operable model railway, the engineering quality still being unmatched according to many (not only dublo enthusiasts either). The book has splendid photos, however there are 'dry areas' which probably seem more relevant now than then, and there is a bias towards dublo poducts, with less reference to the competition, but then this is a book about dublo and not a history of collecting.
