The dvd worked fine. However, when playing the blu-ray, it started freezing about 2/3rds thru the movie. It got so bad that I had to remove it from the player. I really wish the blu-ray would have worked properly. Other than that, I'm reasonably happy with the purchase.

Loaded with funny bits, and you've got to love that music, Yeah.
The music works in this story. And you've got to give Cruise credit for pulling it off. He looks acts and feels the part. [Even though you can't really forget that the "real person" belonging to the face is in the middle of a divorce, splashing thru current news]. It had to be fun to make the movie, and while the story is light and sort of predictable, its loaded with funny bits by Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin and Catherine Z-Jones. A musical is hard to pull off these days, and surely this is good entertainment for those who grew-up with this genre music. I had my hands in the air. Fun movie for fans of classic rock.
Great movie, obviously not Casablanca, but very entertaining. It's fun to see so many classic songs woven together into one story. Honestly, not a huge fan of half the cast, but I was able to look past a lot of that. The product was in excellent condition, brand new, wrapped in plastic.

What a party video...
