Only OEM replacement carbs from here on out.
I spent months screwing around with the original carb as well as a "cheap" Chinese knock-off. With this OEM product all I had to do was attach it and it worked great. No adjustments to the high or low settings required, just had to back off the low idle setting a bit to stop the chain from moving while at an idle. Easy. Only OEM replacement carbs from here on out.

Bolted straight on. Saw started straight up. Slight idle speed adjustment and a dead tree met it’s doom.
