Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Speakers
After being completely disappointed with a set of (highly-rated) Logitech Z 523 computer speakers, I decided to step up to a much better class of speakers. I'm not a gamer, and was looking for a sub $200 pair of speakers to use exclusively for music listening while working on the computer, or elsewhere in the house. I've owned somewhat higher-end audio equipment in the past, so I'm a bit pickier that the average gamer or computer user. After an exhaustive search of speaker reviews, I settled on the Presonus Eris 4.5 speakers paired with an inexpensive Pioneer SW-8 MK2 sub. I am very pleased with their performance, and am glad I decided to spend a bit more to get a "real" set of speaker that I'll be happy listening to for years. The imaging, sound quality and volume are simply phenomenal for the price! I'm exceptionally happy with them. If you're looking for higher-end sound without spending gobs of money, give these a try paired with an inexpensive sub. I'm sure you'll be as pleasantly surprised as I was. Highly recommended!Read full review

These monitors excel in that they produce a relatively clear, detailed, and accurate sound without too much emphasis on any particular frequency. They aren't the clearest or most accurate monitors available, but for the type of people that are looking to spend the amount of money that these cost (beginner-to-intermediate music producers or audio engineers), these will an excellent job. I especially like how they don't overemphasize low-end/bass frequencies, which is a big issue for a lot of consumer or even prosumer audio equipment. I recommend sticking to monitors that have at the very least 4" drivers, as anything smaller than that does tend to struggle with reproducing audio accurately and with enough depth - so the Eris 4.5 (at 4.5") does just fine. Its hard to really find any fault with these for how much they cost - they can easily be found under $200 if you purchase slightly-used/refurbished/open-box units - and they will equip newer audio engineers with a great standard of quality that is needed to produce excellent work. For more experienced creators, I think they serve best as an additional set of reference speakers (in addition to some high-end open-back headphones or something).Read full review

if you are wondering if studio monitors are worth the upgrade, these are an awesome set to start with. i have been mixing on cheaper headphones and computer speakers with a small sub. Switching back and forth with the Eris4.5's, the difference is incredible. Listening to vocals and acoustic guitars, it almost sounds like the performer is in the room with me. the clarity and mid-range definition is a game changer for a small recording setup. the form factor is also great. one active speaker with controls on the front, and a passive speaker that is run by the main controls. this means they are easy to make quick adjustments and use them like you would use regular computer speakers. many studio monitors have all of their controls on the back, which is fine if you have an interface or a monitor controller. these are also fairly compact compared to many studio monitors. These are high quality speakers for the price you'll typically find them for. They are nice and compact allowing for flexible speaker placement while packing a nice solid sound near peak volumes. They offer convenient settings to adjust for placement / sound reverb from the monitoring space. If you're looking for a great set of monitors for your audio production needs, these are a great fit. I use them to compose and arrange music as well as edit audio accompanying video production.

It was working but then suddenly the audio don’t want to work anymore. I don’t know what I did wrong. Everything was fine until yesterday. I wish I knew how to get them to place music. They turn on, but they won’t let out any sound.

Near-field monitors without sub-woofers will never deliver room-filling bass. But when you're sitting 2'-4' away, the bass should be solid and deep. This pair deliver tight & well-defined bass, smooth mids, and bright highs—the stereo imaging is brilliant. These PreSonus monitors provide an accurate reference for projects I create in my home studio.
