    Prepare to be AMAZED!

    The Ken Burns Jazz Series is a super introduction to the career and music of some of America's greatest musicians. The CDs are all excellent, but the Ella Fitzgerald is maybe the best of the bunch. Good clean recordings, wide variety of eras represented, this one goes from soft, pretty ballads to some really wailin' stuff. If you are a Fitzgerald fan as I am, you won't be disappointed. If you are curious about jazz (or if you only remember Ella from those Memorex tape commercials), prepare to be amazed.

    Can't go wrong with music sung by Ella.

    Ella has a great voice. Any jazz lover will enjoy this cd. I bought this item to add to my cd collection. The songs are great on this cd. Older generation grew up hearing the fine music. I heard the cd before and had to have it.
