    I purchased a used bell housing for my 81 w150 to do a v8 swap and still use the np435 trans. Well my stock fork wouldn't fit. The bell housing is from an earlier year. I bought this fork. Man is it solid. Fits perfect in my bell housing and works flawlessly. Paint isn't bad on it either. If in the rust belt I would suggest you place a couple more coats of paint on it though. While painted. Its only one coat. Ok for down here in the south. But in snowy areas where they use salt a lot I would put a couple more on.
