Comedy with lots of laughs
This movie has a great cast. After John Cleese sets the scene, the hilarious antics of the racers is followed. If you want some good laughs and light entertainment it is the movie for you. We have a few comedy movies that we watch again and again and Rat Race is one of them.

Lightweight but quite funny
This is good for a belly-laugh but not too intellectual. Most of the characters are nasty types and in the end get what they deserve.
