    Good iron, rubbish tips.

    This is a good, usable iron that is let down badly by the tips that it's supplied with. They pit almost immediately no matter how careful you are. I went through 2 tips in 3 days! Thankfully they are generic tips that are cheaply available, and it works well with the replacements I bought, so I can't rate it too badly.

    Excellent soldering iron

    Can't fault this soldering iron, I race GT12 radio controlled cars and work from a 12v power supply so it's a great size heats fast and is of a good quality build.
