      Great product

      Bullet proof and easy to install if you follow these tips: 1: cut the hose cleanly and square by tightly taping with several wraps of vinyl tape and using a thin kerf abrasive cutoff wheel. 2: screw the outer housing onto the hose end dry until it bottoms out. 3: fill the inside of the hose end about 1” deep with concentrated dishwashing liquid and coat the threads of the insert fitting with same before screwing it in using well-fitting wrenches until it completely bottoms out. 4: flush inside of hose to remove soap. If it is for a pressure washer you can skip this step.

      I gave the repair part a good review as it could have worked very well if I had been more attentive to the end that fitted to the sprayer handle.

      The hose repair end for Pressure Washer Hose 1/4" did not accomplish what I needed. The end that counter clockwise screwed to one part of the hose was fine. The other end was a male threaded end that was not compatible to the end of the hose that connected to the sprayer handle. I tried to use a barbed fitting with a female end to screw to the repair splice with a clamp, but the water pressure was to great for it to hold.

      When ordering this part, make sure you have the correct part number and whether you need a male or female end and fixed or swivel, this will avoid delays in getting your hose repaired. Also, installing this part was much harder than I thought it would be, I viewed YouTube on how to install it and it seem straight forward, but it was so hard I thought I ordered the wrong part. It was the right part. Best install, pre-insert the inner hose part to stretch the hose out, then install as normal

      Not a Simple Hose Repair

      The hose repair kit is a little pricey for what it's made of. Also you need an additional adapter to connect it to your pressure washer or another hose. The description of this part isn't very clear nor does any other seller have a very good description. I made it work after several trips to different stores.
