    Excellent camcorder very good picture quality easy to use, for a camcorder of this size it does get your arm tired after a while. But a outstanding camcorder. Would not hesitate to recommend.

    audio illusion video shot on canon xm2 empire music hall belfast nov.2011

    as you can see by my rateing of the canon xm2 i am very happy with it,i have 2 other xm2's and would shoot videos of some bands in n.ireland and the canon xm2 is exclent up 2 now i have done 2 camera shoot and sync. has been great with both cameras now comes the big test (i don't think there will be any problem) i will be shooting a new video for Audio Illusion very soon and will be useing 3 canon xm2's. great video cameras can be bought at a reasonable price and condition hope this helps anyone thinking of buying one,have a look at this video shot with 2 canon xm2's good luck ken. http://youtu.be/gGi7WhokIPs

    I bought this camera to video a wedding ,I have two sony 80gb camcorderes i thougt the picture quality was good with them ,But when i tried my new Canon XM2 i was amazed the picture was fantastic in low light and even better out in the sun .It is a few years old but well worth the money,Very easy to use and looks good i cant wait to do the wedding with it. 5 star camera

    Retro pleasure

    As a keen ammeter video maker, I already owned and used a Canon XM-2 for over 12 years. I also use XM-1’s as my main camcorder for projects. However, the XM-1’s have now reached their end of their lives due to failure of the internal battery and mechanical problems. My reason for purchasing another XM-2 is to provide dependable and reliably continuation of my investment in mini DV system. A question most video makers’ would ask if this mini dv system still relevant. My answer is yes. Their are several videos on YouTube which agree with my opinion. You can still edit mini DVD’s on the latest computer equipment with relatively modest specs. With all its settings protected by a replacement button battery, dates up to 2030 and a special feel, it can provide years of pleasure. Quality is not ...
