Works great and sounds much better than our old board
This board works awesome and really makes the room sound so much better. We are still figuring out all of it's capabilities but it's well worth the money. We really like the digital features with the analog knobs.

Great Board!!
Used one of these a couple of years ago. This is a very versatile board. We recorded our band and broke down the everything to single inputs, guitar, bass, drums (5 mikcs), and vocals. When downloaded to mixing software you can adjust the individual levels and we ended up with some awesome recordings. Besides a recording devise this is also a very good mixing board. This a great piece of equipment! Used one of these a couple of years ago. This is a very versatile board. We recorded our band and broke down the everything to single inputs, guitar, bass, drums (5 mikcs), and vocals. When downloaded to mixing software you can adjust the individual levels and we ended up with some awesome recordings. Besides a recording devise this is also a very good mixing board. It's amazing!--a lot different than a Portastudio--better in many ways but not as easy in some ways. I love having knobs to turn for panning, tone, effects, etc. instead of having to look at a tiny computer screen all the time.

At first glance it looks like any analog mixer. Till you use it, the preamps are amazingly powerful, it took only minutes to dial in complex effects that took me days on my other effects devices, I.e. line-6pod, Lexicon, Helicon. The recording is simple and straightforward, a few clicks and go! I watched a few videos, but only needed to glance at the informative manual a couple times, playing backing tracks through the Bluetooth sounds excellent. Bluetooth 4.0 according to manual. Sounds better than that. The mix was easy and background hiss on turning the sliders or pots way up was non-existent. No pop on power down on my powered speakers when shutting down mixer first. This unit was designed to put on live shows. Unlike my old porta+studio the recorded tracks don't get deleted on ... At first glance it looks like any analog mixer. The long throw faders, the ONE KNOW COMPRESSION on the mic-pre’d channels, and just the ease of not only navigating the onboard recorder, but also the versatility of using it as my usb interface and having fully individualized tracks recorded as an ensemble. This board is everything I could have ever wanted from a piece of gear. I just keep all my band’s equipment mic’d up for each practice, and if we stumble onto some gold during, not only do I already have it all individually tracked, but a couple hours of adding some overlays and fine tuning the mix and mastering: and I’m left with a professional quality recording. From something we literally came up with that day! This board has changed the game for me, and tascam has become my choice for sound ... As a live mixer this board is incredible.
