    Worst of Days

    This is a compelling and thoroughly researched story of the Black Saturday fires in Victoria in 2009. It takes us behind the scenes of the families who were caught in the fires, and the background of all the efforts of authorities from the first alert to the aftermath. Couldn't put it down and Karen Kissane has written this book in such a way you are there with her on the ground, the stench of smoke and air of disaster filling your senses as you read. I've bought this book for quite a few family and friends now.
