Canon EF 24-70mm F/2.8 L USM is pristine & works perfectly with Canon R6 Mark ii with Canon EF adapter. (K&F Concepts adapter did not work). It's a heavy lens but I love it. Now I need a really good tripod. Lens was well packaged & arrived on time. Highly recommend this seller!

I do all the purchasing for the Optical Sciences College, Surface Science, Department. I was asked to assemble a complete package of Canon lenses that would compliment the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II. My research prior to making a decisions comes under extreme scrutiny. Failure is not an option, ever! The Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8L wasn't included in my initial order, but it certainly made the second! My superior was so blown away with the results from the EF 24-70mm that I personally requested to borrow it. I wanted to verify for myself the glowing reviews of this product. It preformed SO WELL, that during my initial impression, I was certain that the Canon EF 24-70mm was broken. This lens was so incredibly quiet, that just assumed that it didn't change focus. I was truly embarrassed, but once I saw the results, I also became a believer. With that said, didn't hesitate to purchase a second Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 for my personal use. In my book, using my personal funds, is the ultimate form of flattery. Ross Potoff University of Arizona Optical Sciences 1040 E. This is my favorite zoom lens for 135 “full format” stills photography. The wide/normal to portrait focal range is extremely handy. This range, plus this lens’ 2.8 formula stop, takes care of 90% of situations I am hired to capture. This lens basically lives on one of my two cameras.

I bought this lens to use with my Canon T2i. I have been told many times that it's better to invest in getting superior glass (lenses) for an average camera than to invest in a superior camera with only average lenses. The advice was right on. I can take incredible pictures with the "L" lenses that I have including the Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8L USM. I was concerned about the crop factor with my T2i whereby I wouldn't be able to capture a wide angle close up shot (i.e., full torso or body at about 4 feet away). My worries were for naught. The difference is not really noticeable in these situations. This lens is really impressive. I was amazed by the picture quality and the ability to sharply focus on an object only a foot away. Between this lens, the 70-200mm F2.8L IS USM, a 50mm F1.8, and 2x converter, I am set for almost any situation. I would highly recommend adding this lens to your arsenal of lenses. Even a used lens can be a beaut and also saves you a bit of money.Read full review
I needed a new lens because my old lens quit zooming, This is a much better replacement than I had.

For me this is the best available lens for true wide angle shots for any of the Canon Rebel series and the 30 to 50D series. I like it because it exactly fills a slot matching up with my L series lenses of 24- 70 mm and 70 - 200 mm. While it is not IS nor as rugged a construction as the L series, it seems to be quite adequate. Many accomplished amateur photographers recommended this lens to me and I have used it enough to know that it's "a keeper".
As a professional photographer, this lens is a must-have lens. It's not the sexy f/1.4 lens that you can do great shallow depth of focus for portraits. This is a workhorse lens that's solid, dependable and reliable. The Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L lens is sharp, and is really one of the key go-to lenses when shooting an event. I use it for all of the group / family photos, and it's wonderful when shooting at f/14 to keep everything in focus. Then, when the lights go down on the dance floor, it excels at f/2.8, and focuses quickly, even in low light. I've tried using other lenses, such as the Sigma lens, and while they are good, they're just not as high quality. I was debating whether or not to go with this lens vs. the f/4 version that has IS (image stabilization), and having the extra stop (f/2.8) vs. f/4 for the other lens means that I can stop action a lot faster, as opposed to stabilizing an image that is slower moving. This is a step up from the older 28-70 mm f/2.8 lens, and not as recent as their newer one with IS, but it works, and it's 100% reliable and solid. Yes, it's heavier, and it's not their latest and greatest, but this is a solid lens that I'll use for as long as it works. And when it doesn't, I'll get it repaired.Read full review
So new, great lens and reasonable cost. Takes great closeups and panarama shots. Very clear pictures. All my new canon lens take a 77mm lens cap and 77mm filters, so I can share the filters with my other canon lens too. Seller kept in touch with me very well and is very friendly. I keep my camera and this lens with me all the time. Like this morning, my husband woke me up to tell me about the beautiful sunrise. I ran to get my camera and this Canon EF 24-70mm F2.8 lens to take the beautiful sky. I am continually greatful for my Canon T1i Rebel camera and the "new" Canon lenses that I am adding to my collection so I can get beautifully clear photos for myself and contest.
I have been a professional photographer for 25 years. This quickly became my go to lens for events and some portraits. I bought several of the version 2 lenses that are still the current model. I broke them all in the course of my business. Never dropped, just broke. I have worn out a couple of these and had one stolen, but this is a solid work horse. A bit heavier, possibly a fraction slower in focus. But these are built better, last longer, have as good quality glass and is my preference. Hope this helps.

Excellent build quality, images are tack sharp and have this creamy bokeh that I haven’t seen with any other lens. Made mostly of metal vs. cheap plastic including metal filter threads ( don’t think this is important? Wait til you cross thread the plastic ones in a hurry..) sad this lense isn’t being built anymore and was replaced with a plastic behemoth.
