Instead of wearing out all the ports on my P15/T15g I can now use one cable for all my monitors and USB accessories. This particular model will only charge lower wattage USBC powered laptops, unless you get the 230w version. Either way it has taking my laptop out of the office alot easier.

Great product/docking station. This is an exact replica of what I have in my office at work...so I was able to set up this one to exactly replicate my two-monitor set-up at home like I have at work. This has multiple usb and HDMI inputs as well as an input for speakers as well. Very happy with the product! Seller provided 135 power cord (this confused me a little as the power input said 270 and I couldn't get it to work....then I noticed a second input for 135 and it works great).

Works just fine. The Carbon X1 Nano has only two ports, so the dock is a necessity. The dock has all I need to run my peripherals. I can unplug it from the laptop without problems while the laptop is running, then plug it back in and reconnect seamlessly.

This dock is an awesome addition to your workspace, especially if you use your laptop as a home office setup. The best thing about this dock is the connection going back to the laptop is Thunderbolt 3 and not USB C. For those who do not know the difference, Thunderbolt 3 has much higher throughput and energy transfer. If you are running 4k monitors and or a lot of USB devices to your dock, USB C may not have the power capacity to transfer through a single connection back to your laptop. Meaning, you may have to have several connections going to your laptop instead of one, as pictured in my setup. I am running my dock to a Thinkpad X1 Carbon GEN 7. Below are the devices that are plugged into my dock: 2x - Monitors (HDMI) 1x - Webcam (USB) 1x - Dongle (Wireless mouse and keyboard) 1x - Ethernet 1x - Thunderbolt 3 (Connection from dock to laptop) 1x - Power cable (Included with the dock) Ports not being used on the dock: 2x - Displayport (My monitors don't use Displayport, so these are free. I am able to power all of these devices with no issue. The only thing I have ever run into, is the laptop not charging when on the dock. I think this is a BIOS issue with Lenovo. When this has happened, I unplug Thunderbolt 3 from my laptop and plug it back in and the laptop starts charging. This has only happened every blue moon and generally is not an issue. I would highly recommend this dock as it keeps your work space clean from a bunch of cables and allows you to hook your laptop up easily and quickly! Read full review

I bought this item to use Thinkpad X1 Tablet gen 3. Because this PC has only two usb-C(Thunderbolt3) connectors, so I need to more USB connectors. This Dock has 4 USB3.0 on it's back, and 2 on it's front(one of them is USB-C). I don't use any HDMI/Displayport, but I'm very satisfied with this item. But only 1 problem on this Dock. In front of this dock, USB connectors locate at right side. But I want to them at left side. Previous model(40AC135US) has left side...

Great dock with multiple ports. Mine used one didn’t come with a thunderbolt wire unfortunately and they can cost around $40.

Missed 2 x 24 inch monitor at work. Finally purchased docking station. I should have purchased months ago. This docking station looks new and had necessary cables to connect to computer. Plug and play with thinkpad.

I am enjoying not having to unplug the one I have at work everyday. It was brand new in the box when I received it. Well worth the price.

I like the product, unfortunately, my Yoga 720 15" laptop doesn't charge through the thunderbolt port so kind of makes the whole box kind of useless to me. It works well though as its supposed to though.
