    Cute, and could be accurate--LOTS of recipes!

    So much information, so much enthusiasm! The herbal information alone makes me want to start a really big herb garden. And the recipes sound very yummy. This book gives the impression that lots of research went into it. It's is a good companion to the author's Wicked books.

    A fun book

    My favorite genre of book reading is historical fiction and this book satisfies that preference perfectly. It looks at the plants that make up many of the world's favorite alcoholic beverages, how their use was discovered and developed and why some beverages became popular in which countries based on history and colonialism. Great conversation starter. Interesting read
