If you need a little more power, it also has limited overclocking abilities.The Core 2 Duo family has been designed from the ground up for desktop computers. The E6700 contains a 1066 MHz full-speed bus (FSB) architecture, which means that the processor can achieve swifter speeds than ever before. Moreover, the cache system has been specifically optimized for a dual-core setup. Intel doubled the amount of L2 cache to 4MB. That means the device can store even more data on the CPU compared with earlier processors in the same family.
