    Fast Shipping and Limited Plug and play

    This adapter worked will in Microsoft Windows eg- 10. Worked on Kali Linux, however didn't work on my Raspberry pi 2 which ran Open-Wrt and Ubuntu Mate. Couldn't find the updated supporting drivers for raspberry pi. Also no drivers are provided with the device. Works on windows with Realtek rtl8153 drivers- downloadable. Fast shipping- Arrived before expected date.

    NIC constantly disconnects -- unusable with usb 3.0

    Was looking forward to using this product. However it doesn't work with any usb 3.0 connection. Constantly disconnects and is unusable. Could only get it to work with external usb 2.0 hub on a Windows 10 64bit desktop. With a notebook running same OS I couldn't get it to work at all. I tried 3 or 4 different drivers also. None was any better that the other. Perhaps the problem is still driver related. Any body get it to work? How did you do it.

    Realtek Chipset Gigabit Ethernet Dongle

    I have successfully used this dongle with conventional devices and Chrome devices. It takes a little more time for this device to be announced to ChromeOS, but it WILL be recognized. This dongle incorporates the Realtek chipset, and this supports 9 kiB "jumbo" frames, whereas competitive dongles support 2 kiB "jumbo" frames. I bought one, liked it, and then bought two more. A "repeat buy" is certainly my strong recommendation of a product! I use these on Chromebooks and other devices which either have no Ethernet port at all, or only a 10/100 Ethernet port. I have also used these on Chromeboxes which already have a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, for debugging purposes. I highly recommend this dongle!
