      Well built and great price point, but has a noisy fan... Read for application recommendations:

      This power supply is marketed as a power supply to run 12v DC LEDs on 110v AC. I am using it for a home theater subwoofer made with a 12v car audio amplifer. I expected to push this supply to the limit, but it seems to be putting up with everything I throw at it. I know that the alternating on/off power draw of audio is much different than a typical LED power strip running a constant draw, so that being considered I am using to pull a max of around 110w. The loss of the star comes from the excessively loud fan in the case used to cool the unit. I was going to buy another for the attic over my front porch, but I'm convinced the noise and vibration caused by the little fan would be audible in the adjacent and below living room (just to give you an idea how loud this thing is).       LED power supply

      Performs well but could be designed better so that you don’t have to disassemble the casing in order to access the switch that converts power from 110 to 220/240V. A hole in side of casing with a rubber plug is all it would take. Fan too noisy and unnecessary for location with low and minus zero temperatures. We removed the fan as others have also done.

      12v 500w indoor/outdoor power supply

      Couldn’t be happier with quality and performance. I use on my pool deck to run ATV 450w weatherproof speakers. Runs for hours and stays cool, the fan runs smooth. I don’t keep in direct rain but is exposed to moisture so time will tell but so far it’s doing what it should.
