Nice cover but....?
Nice cover but still unable to use since the way of securing it is poorly thought out. No way to install the cover and easily secure it since the tie downs are to tight to install and to hard to get to if they were a little looser. Still trying to figure it out. Poor design
As stated in the other reviews, the cover is good quality, but the method of securing it is rediculous. The strap snapped in half on one side, the first time I tried to install it. Good cheap cover.
I bought this to use on an under car mounted rear winch. Price was a big factor for this purchase. It was cheap and it wouldn't hurt my feelings to modify it. As mentioned, the strap leaves a little something to be desired. Easy fix with some bungees. This appears to be more of a textured vinyl than a canvas. Otherwise appears to be well constructed. To the 1 star reviews. If you seriously can't handle custom fitting a cover to your winch, on a custom bumper, on a custom vehicle, you likely should not be running said winch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very well constructed and good vakue
The cover is made of very heavy (thick) nylon material similar to the old military duffle bags but obviously impregnated with a silicone or rubber compound. It should last a long time. Covers my 9000 lb winch with no problems. I may replace the drawstrings, as they are just barely ling enough making on and off tricky so that they don't come loose at the ends from the pull string clasp. What I Think
I think it's going to do a great job of protecting my winch. It is made of heavy canvas so it should stand up to the wind when I'm running 70 mph on the intestates, It also looks good and the color should stand up to the sun pretty well. My old winch cover was made of a much lighter material and ripped within a week of installation and faded very fast to an ugly dull gray.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worst winch cover ever. To hard to get on and off. The drawstring tie downs are a joke. If you can get it on you cannot reach the strings to tighten without laying under the Jeep. Junk would not recommend!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Expected better
Don’t waste your money on this smittybilt winch cover. It is of poor design. You would think since smittybilt makes winches that they would make a cover that would exactly fit their winches and bumper. There are better fitting covers out there and for less money. Bad fit not worth the money
This is basically a universal style cover with smittybilt stamped on it, fits terribly it’s so bulky you can’t get it tightened down enough to fit tight, and seems the logo is on the wrong side the way it’s made.
