  • The title says it all.

This book was difficult to put down once reading began. A fantastic book for someone with a little piloting experience which makes understanding the terminology easier. The book starts off with some background into the life of Gary Powers and is broken up into three sections: his flying the mission, his time as a prisoner in the Russian prison system and his life after his release and return back to the United States. There are surprises along the way that are not expected. All in all, a great story about a great man. ENJOY! R.
