Good enouigh.
This is my fourth Pocketalker! It produces better sound quality than hearing aids, but is inconvenient to handle. I modify a good quality hearing bud headphone to accept one sound source. But eyeglasses on a string complicate matters. Over time the plug connections wear out and crackle. The frequency control is a pain and one setting is enough.I find the original microphone from the black box works better than those supplied with the streamlined version. Works well to improve hearing
Product was easy to set up and lightweight. It allowed a senior citizen with severe hearing loss to hear better than when wearing a hearing aid. A big help
My Dad's very expensive hearing aids are almost worthless -- we still have to yell from 2 feet to be heard. The sound with the Pocketalker is a little "tinny" but not bad.
