Great ,Greatest ever packing! Shipped right away. Got to me quickly, items were exactly as described and I thought the items were priced well. Seller combined shipping and sent items thru a reliable carrier. One of my better eBay transactions. Not kidding about the packing, really well protected. Thanks

Item shipped in reasonable time. Packaging was excellent! Overall condition of item is good but not as described. Advertised as a product of 1954 and is not. Said item was stamped January 1954 and is not. Overall good value item for the money. Shipping cost was very reasonable. I would have to think twice about buying from this seller again.

The 287 locomotive / tender combination was IN FACT only produced in 1954, therefore the statement above is partially incorrect because it is 1954 production. And yes, I made a mistake by stating that the date stamp was on the underside of the tender - it is not. The stamp is correctly on the underside of the boiler shell. The underside of the tender is shown in the listing, so as always, if you have any questions or want to point out a mistake, please ask. A refund was offered.
