Very convenient stand to use, and a great value.
I am a road biker and many bikes, like my new Giant Defy are moving to disk brakes and 12mm through axles. This stand comes with easily mounted adaptors for both 12mm and 15mm through axle hubs and has a feature to true up the brake disk as well as the rim. The axle adapters expand inside the hub's though hole to mount the wheel to the stand. I would be cautious about adjusting the adapter to apply too much expansion force for fear of altering the hub's through hole and/or bearing alignment. I found a modest about of tightening resulted in a very stable mount. it's great, one can mount a wheel to the stand in a matter of seconds using the adapter or a quick-release skewer. In order to gauge wheel dish, one has to reverse the mounting of the wheel which is a bit more inconvenient that a two sided truing stand, but unless you are building up wheels form scratch on a regular basis, that shouldn't be a important. The stand is compact, foldable and made of solid materials and is nicely executed....i'm very happy with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good investment
