This examination of one of the most important battles of WWII originally aired on the Discovery Channel. Studying the events in the Pacific in June of 1942, this documentary explains how the undermanned U.S. forces were able to eke out a victory over the Japanese Navy. Using interviews and archival footage, the film demonstrates how compiling a few secrets from breaking codes coupled with aggressive attacks based on vague intuition proved to be the deciding factor in what many consider to be the most important battle of the second World War.
